Scandalous Star Carolee Carmello to Spread the Good Word with New Broadway.com Vlog

Two-time Tony nominee Carolee Carmello is singing to the heavens as Aimee Semple McPherson in the new Broadway musical Scandalous. Broadway.com is teaming up with the actress for an exclusive look at the show with the new video blog Follow Me: Backstage at Scandalous with Carolee Carmello.

Featuring a book and lyrics by Kathie Lee Gifford and music by David Pomeranz and David Friedman, Scandalous is set in 1920s Los Angeles. The show follows the life of McPherson, the trailblazing media superstar whose passion for saving souls was matched by her habit of making headlines. As her popularity grows, so do her enemies, until her sermons, celebrity profile and past combine to put everything she believes in on trial. 

The first episode of Follow Me: Backstage of Scandalous will premiere on October 25 with seven additional episodes to follow. Scandalous opens on November 15 at the Neil Simon Theatre!
